Installation Details
How the Slimline 50 Under Eave Awning is Installed
Wall-mounted brackets provide the main structural support for the awning
- On brick walls, brackets are fixed directly to the masonry, allowing flexible placement.
- On cladded walls, brackets are installed through the cladding and anchored securely into the timber studs behind.
- Brackets are made from high-grade aluminium for strength and durability.
Cantilever arms are mounted directly into the wall brackets.
- The arms project horizontally beneath the eaves, creating a stable support platform for the awning panel.
- Arms are positioned as required along the wall for balanced support.
- This design eliminates the need for posts or bulky supports.
The awning panel is secured at two points:
- At the fascia, mounted directly below the gutter for a neat finish.
- At the front of the cantilever arms, providing solid, balanced support.
This dual mounting system
ensures the awning is rigid, stable, and aligned with the roofline.
The design allows you to combine
The design allows you to combine the depth of the eave with the awning’s maximum 1065mm projection, giving generous coverage.
The installation results in a clean, streamlined appearance
perfect for modern homes where minimal visual impact is key.
The awning is ideal for situations where wall space is limited
such as doorways or windows close to the eave — or when you want to avoid fixing directly into exposed walls.
